Introducing Amidst Life, a quarterly digital magazine that inspires women using something we all have to think about every day—fashion!
Our twist on the topic: to be a style hub that puts women above clothes. More than tell you what’s coming down the latest runways, more than tempt you to stretch your shopping budget, and much more than prompt a pattern of comparison with other women, we want to encourage you (and ourselves!). We hope to empower you, as you’re getting dressed, to start your days without doubt, confusion, shame or lies of any kind.
Our goal is to encourage women of all ages, shapes and sizes to find our identities in Christ through fashion. In this magazine, that means being informative with ideas and tips that will give you the confidence of a stylist, having open conversations like good friends about fashion struggles, and not taking ourselves too seriously by laughing at our faux pas!
If you’ve wanted fashion to feel more uplifting, more real, more budget-conscious and way less materialistic, this is the magazine for you.

WHO’S CREATING THIS?
Kendall Kostelic
More than myself and my wonderful business partner, it’s Jesus who’s creating this. And I am so excited to be on this journey with Him! Hi, my name is Kendall. I am so overjoyed to meet you! This magazine is a dream that’s been about 15 years in the making; I started ruminating on it when I was a freshman in high school. Since then, I’ve worked as a magazine editor and stylist, created a semi-successful fashion blog and have been blessed with lots of other life experiences too. My style is maximalist, with lots of color and prints! And I like to shop locally and with companies who treat their workers well as much as I can. In my free time, I like to travel, go on walks, bake and read!

Hello, my name is Kaira Larson! I am so thrilled to be a part of this magazine that God has placed on our hearts! When Kendall asked me last year to help her with this vision, I was so excited…but also a little nervous at first. But through the courage of many friends and family members, and Jesus being in the midst of this, I cannot wait to see where this journey will take us. I have always had a love for fashion since I was a little kid. I never thought I would use that love for fashion to help create something like this! My style is ever-evolving as I find new things that I like. There’s always a bit of this and a bit of that in it. But that’s the fun of fashion—that we can express what we are feeling inside on the outside! One of my other passions is to travel, as well as dance, and spend time with my family and friends!
